John Keells Holdings said Keells supermarkets recorded 14% same-store sales growth and 19% footfall growth in 2025, and opened two outlets bringing the total to 142. The company noted lower spend per visit but higher cumulative customer spend and plans further expansion.

John Keells Holdings said its auto arm delivered 3,700 BYD vehicles in the September quarter (6,000 sold total) and holds 3,800 orders, but deliveries were halted after Sri Lanka Customs detained several BYDs in a motor-capacity dispute. JKH has sought court relief, secured initial releases with bank guarantees and is refocusing on hybrid models.
John Keells Holdings reported a 21% rise in September-quarter profit to 1.65 billion rupees, driven by electric vehicle sales, financial services and initial revenues from its City of Dreams Sri Lanka integrated resort.
