Sampath Bank’s proposed LKR10 billion Basel III-compliant subordinated green bond was assigned an expected National Long-Term Rating of 'A(EXP)(lka)' by Fitch. The five- and seven-year bonds, which include a non-viability conversion clause, will be listed on the CSE to strengthen Tier 2 capital and finance green projects.
