DFCC Bank won two country awards, Best Performance on Growth and Best Performance on Profitability for Sri Lanka, at the 4th ICC Emerging Asia Banking Conclave and Awards 2026 in New Delhi. The bank said the recognition reflects disciplined growth, balance-sheet management and focus on profitability.

Colombo stock market rose 0.11% as the ASPI gained 22.78 points to 21,338.69 and the S&P SL20 climbed 0.07% to 6,009.68. Market turnover was over Rs.1.01bn on 50.6m shares, foreign investors were net buyers of Rs.18.6m; top positive contributors were BIL, CARS, WIND, JKH and DFCC, with negatives from BREW, VONE, MELS, HNB and SEMB.
