Asiri Surgical Hospital (AMSL.N0000) performed Sri Lanka's first robot-assisted surgery on 13 July 2026. The hospital says the robotic platform enables greater precision, smaller incisions and quicker recovery, bringing advanced surgical capability to patients locally.
