C M Holdings agreed to sell a Thalangama South property to Vogue Real Estate for Rs. 260 million, with Rs. 26 million paid as advance and the remaining Rs. 234 million due on or before 31 March 2026.
C M Holdings: Senthilverl Holdings bought 1,000,000 shares at Rs.71 on 30 Oct 2025, raising its holding to 15,488,966 shares (10.19% of 152m issued). C M Holdings closed at Rs.70.90 and reported end‑September NAV per share of Rs.467 (up from Rs.246 a year ago).
Colombo market fell for a third straight session, with the ASPI down 0.44% to 22,689.22 and the S&P SL20 down 0.84%; turnover was Rs. 6.19bn and foreigners were net sellers of Rs. 42.48m. Major movers included declines in JKH, SFCL and SAMP, while DOCK, COLO, ASCO and LGL posted notable gains.
Colombo Stock Exchange closed down as the ASPI fell 0.44% to 22,689.22 with turnover Rs6.19bn. Top contributors included Colombo Dockyard, Ceylinco Holdings, Vidullanka, Lanka Realty Investments and C M Holdings, and several energy names (eg. Vidullanka, WindForce) saw investor interest.

ASPI gained about 108 points to 18,946 on Rs. 9.1 billion turnover, led by the Capital Goods sector; John Keells, Commercial Bank, Access Engineering, Hayleys and LOLC were top contributors and banking names including HNB and Sampath also recorded gains.

ASPI closed up 1.30% (219.36 pts) at 17,156.05, nearing its all-time high amid the 2025 budget presentation. Net foreign inflow of LKR 777m (highest in 2025) drove buying in Ceylinco Holdings, Browns Investments and activity in NDB, Sampath, Hayleys, Sierra Cables and Jetwing Symphony.
