Durga Infra raised its stake in Hatton Plantations to 12.5% by buying 10,245,384 shares at Rs.25.60 each (≈Rs.262.3m) on May 6, increasing its holding to 29.58m shares of 236.67m issued.
Sri Lanka's ASPI closed up 0.29% (66.12 points) at 23,063 after a volatile session that briefly breached 23,000. Hayleys and Dialog were top positive contributors, and Hatton Plantations said Durga Infra bought 10,245,384 shares and now holds 12.5%.
Lotus Renewable sold 10,903,500 shares (4.61% of issued ordinary shares) in Hatton Plantations to Durga Infra for Rs. 297.7m (Rs. 27.30/share) on 21 Nov; the board was notified on 24 Nov 2025. Hatton closed at Rs. 28.10, down Rs. 0.40, and reported NAV Rs. 21.47/share at end-Sep 2025.
Hatton Plantations PLC said parent Lotus Renewable Energy sold 8.4m ordinary shares (3.56% of issued) to Durga Infra for Rs.247.9m (Rs.29.40/share). Lotus remains top shareholder (75.65% as of 30 June 2025) and HPL's NAV per share was Rs.21.64 on that date.
