Brand Finance's Sri Lanka 100 2026 report: the combined brand value of the top 100 Sri Lankan brands rose 17% to a record Rs. 652 billion, surpassing the 2019 peak. Banking brands account for 42% (Rs. 275bn) of the total; several banks and digital brands posted double-digit gains.
Digital Mobility Solutions Lanka PLC (PickMe) reported Q1 FY2026/27 revenue of Rs. 2.5bn (+40% YoY) and net profit of Rs. 631m (+45% YoY). The company said it generated Rs. 22bn in income for its driver and merchant network and GTV rose 48% to Rs. 25.3bn despite temporary fuel supply disruptions.
Colombo market extended its rebound as the ASPI rose 0.24% (49.81 pts) to 21,199.37 and the S&P SL20 gained 0.22% to 5,945.87, with turnover about Rs.1.1bn and foreigners net sellers of Rs.188.6m. Top contributors included HNB, CARS, CINS, NDB and TKYO; NDB, SAMP and PKME gained while MELS fell and JKH closed flat.
Colombo market rose after the Central Bank held policy rates steady; ASPI +0.02% to 21,149.56 while S&P SL20 fell 0.21%. SEYB, PKME, CARG and SEMB were main positive contributors as real estate management & development drove 65% of turnover with crossings in ONAL; foreigners net-sold Rs.241m.

Digital Mobility Solutions Lanka (PickMe) posted FY25/26 revenue of Rs.8.7bn (+49%), net profit of Rs.2.2bn (+88%) and GTV of Rs.84.5bn, distributing over Rs.73bn to independent earners; the Board proposed a final dividend of Rs.2.60 (total Rs.4.30).
