Browns Investments PLC is the strategic investment arm of the Browns Group and a part of LOLC Holdings PLC, maintaining a diversified portfolio across leisure and hospitality, agriculture and plantations, and construction and real estate. The company holds and manages plantation and agri-export businesses under the Browns Plantations umbrella as well as leisure properties and other commodity businesses. The agriculture and plantations interests operate through named entities including Maturata Plantations, Udapussellawa Plantations, Hapugastenne Plantations and overseas units such as Browns Plantations Kenya, Browns East Africa Plantations, Browns Plantations Tanzania, Browns Plantations Rwanda and Browns Plantations (Guizhou) Tea; these businesses cover cultivation, processing and export of tea and related agricultural activities and maintain international certifications such as Rainforest Alliance, ISO 22000 and HACCP.
