Its activities include the supply of farm machinery and equipment, distribution of automotive batteries and tyres, and the import and distribution of hardware, power tools, office equipment and veterinary products. The group’s operations and distribution network are focused across Sri Lanka. The Group is organised into clusters and Strategic Business Units. The Automotive & Hardware cluster comprises Browns Battery & Tyre (automotive and industrial batteries, tyres and related services, including digital warranty solutions), Browns General Trading (distribution of tools and hardware brands such as Makita, waterproofing solutions and domestic appliances) and Browns Thermal Engineering (BTEL), which manufactures and supplies radiator and injection-moulded plastic products under brands including RADCO. The Agriculture & Heavy Machinery cluster comprises Browns Agriculture (distribution, after-sales support and service for tractors, harvesters, rice mill equipment and precision agriculture services, including partnerships with manufacturers such as TAFE) and Browns Power Systems (power generation and engineering solutions).
