E.B. Creasy & Company PLC is a diversified Sri Lankan listed group engaged in manufacturing, marketing and distribution of consumer, industrial and wellness products supported by an island-wide distribution network and a national sales force. The Group operates manufacturing facilities (including the Bic and Denta factory in Millewa) and supplies retail and commercial customers across Sri Lanka. The Group’s Consumer operations cover Personal Care (shaving and oral care manufacturing), Home Care (a portfolio of household cleaning and biodegradable products such as Bio Clean, Bubble All Out, Softny and Teepol) and Foods (confectionery manufacturing and the import and distribution of bakery ingredients through a dedicated network serving over 3,000 retail outlets). The Industrial division comprises Energy & Lighting (products including batteries, LED lighting, renewable energy solutions and integrated solar and battery energy storage under the Laxapana brand) and Building Solutions (roofing, wall cladding, galvanised steel wires, chain-link fencing and related steel products, including barbed wire under the Laxapana brand). The Wellness & Nutrition segment includes Therapeutics, Specialised Nutrition and Disposable Hygiene products sold through a dedicated sales force to pharmacies, modern trade partners and private hospitals (serving over 3,500 pharmacies), and has introduced consumer brands such as Teddy, Rontamil and Rontameal. In addition to these core activities, the Group’s listing activity line notes involvement in marketing and distribution of hardware consumer products, freight forwarding and export of non-traditional Sri Lankan products, plantation management and the hotel industry.
