Lankem Ceylon PLC is a diversified importer, manufacturer and distributor of chemicals and related products in Sri Lanka, operating across agro-inputs, paints, industrial chemicals, consumer products, pest control, leisure and packaging businesses. Its activities include importing and distributing agro-chemicals, industrial chemicals, bituminous products, paints and consumer goods and managing allied operations within the Group. The company’s core reporting segments are Paints, Agro (agrochemicals, seeds and fertilizers), Pest Control and Industrial Chemicals; the Group has also initiated vertical integration into fertilizer manufacturing through a fully owned subsidiary to develop a Single Super Phosphate (SSP) plant. Lankem operates islandwide through an extensive distribution network and leverages group companies in its industrial activities. The Group maintains additional interests in hospitality, consumer goods and printing & packaging, and markets a portfolio of branded consumer products, including Sunquick, KVC, Scan, Delish and Kotagala Kahata, alongside international personal and home care brands and paint products such as CARBANO by Robbialac.
